Arnold Family Home

The home of early Laramie lawyer C.P. Arnold and his wife, Anne Brockway Arnold may be viewed from the street at 812 Grand Avenue in Laramie. The house, designed by Walter Ware and built in an Eastlake style with hints of Victorian, was finished in 1889. The Arnolds’ sons, Carl Arnold, later dean of the University of Wyoming Law School, and Thurman Arnold, later a trust-busting assistant U.S. Attorney during the New Deal, were both born there.
