Battle of Red Buttes marker

There is a marker for the Battle of Red Buttes on the north side of State Route 220 at a paved turnout a little more than one-half mile west of Robertson Road on the west edge of Casper, Wyo. The actual battle site is across the river about two miles north of the marker.
