Fontenelle Dam and Reservoir
The Fontenelle Dam on the Green River, 24 miles south of LaBarge, Wyo., was built in the early 1960s. When full, Fontenelle Reservoir, impounded by the dam stretches 20 miles upstream. It contains cutthroat, brown and rainbow trout. Recreation at the site is managed by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management in cooperation with the U.S. Bureau of reclamation.
