Oregon Trail-Ferdinand V. Hayden Monument

The Oregon Trail-Ferdinand V. Hayden Monument is also located in Glenrock. This monument, erected in 1931, stands behind the Higgins Hotel in Kimball Park on the east side of South Fifth Street, one-half block north of Birch Street, and notes: ”Erected [1931] by William Henry Jackson, a member of the Dr. F. V. Hayden expedition 1870-1878."
