Snowy Range Scenic Byway
The Snowy Range Scenic Byway is a 29-mile stretch of Wyoming Highway 130 that crosses the Medicine Bow Mountains. The route is open only during the summer and passes close to Medicine Bow Peak, elevation 12,013 feet. The highway is located in both Albany and Carbon counties. A self-guided tour is available at the Ryan Park Campground, the site of a World War II Prisoner of War camp.
