Tie Hack Memorial

The Tie Hack Memorial, 12 miles northwest of Dubois on U.S. Highway 26/287, honors the men who cut railroad ties out of Wyoming forests and floated them down flumes and rivers for the Wyoming Tie and Timber Company, under contract with the Chicago and North Western Railroad.
