Wyoming Veterans Memorial Museum

The Wyoming Veterans Memorial Museum is located at 3740 Jourgensen Ave. at Natrona County International Airport in Casper, Wyo. The museum is in what was the Servicemen’s Club at the World War II era Casper Army Air Base, where B-17 and B-24 bomber crews and P-39 Airacobra fighter pilots trained. Stories of Wyoming military veterans of all branches of service, from World War I to the modern war on terrorism come alive through artifacts and guided tours.

The museum also contains an outstanding collection of World War II-era original murals showing the history of Wyoming done by enlisted U.S. Army personnel. A military library, archives and photograph collection are also available for learning and research. The museum is free, and open from 9 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday, Monday and holidays. For more information, call (307) 472-1857.
